API guidelines

We want people to make cool shit with our cool shit. We just want you to follow some basic guidelines. Keep in mind, this is all subject to change.

Searches and streams will be credited. This is to prevent slowdown to people using the website, which is our top priority.
If the library of the same name (whom we are not affiliated with) can do a better job at whatever you're trying to accomplish, use that.
Attribution to the site will be required, espescially if your project is heavily reliant on our site.

How to get API credits

First and foremost, the most common way to get API credits is by donating. The rate per dollar/coin is yet to be determined. We will have this posted by the time API access is ready.
